Kuusakoski secures silver in EcoVadis assessment again
Kuusakoski has once again achieved a Silver medal in the EcoVadis assessment. Our score improved significantly compared to last year, placing us among the top 6% of assessed companies globally.
The international sustainability assessment of company supply chains conducted by EcoVadis has awarded Kuusakoski Recycling a new Silver rating. Kuusakoski ranked among the top 6% globally, compared to last year's placement in the top 20%.
"We are very proud of this recognition. Renewing the Silver rating in the EcoVadis assessment is a fantastic achievement, especially since the assessment criteria have become stricter compared to last year," says Chief Sustainability Officer Tuomas Haikka.
IMPROVEMENT IN ALL AREAS
EcoVadis is a globally recognised measure of sustainability. This achievement reflects Kuusakoski’s commitment to environmental responsibility, social responsibility, and ethical business practices, placing us among the globally recognised pioneers of sustainable development.
The results of the EcoVadis assessment are based on four main categories: environment, labour practices and human rights, ethical business practices, and sustainable procurement. Kuusakoski once again received excellent scores in the environment category, significantly exceeding the average in each category and improving its scores in all areas.
