Metals

Metal recycling is our core competence. We process vehicles, batteries, scrap metal from industrial production, precious metal -containing waste, printing plates, developers and fixers.

Our latest investment, a reject plant in Heinola, Finland, allows us to recover 2000 tonnes of more metal each year.

2
Precious metals

We recover the following precious metals from liquid and solid materials: gold, silver, palladium, platinum, and rhodium. We then make intermediate goods from them.

Our state-of-the-art technology ensures efficient material yield. We use advanced pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical processes in the recovery of precious metals. Our own, accredited laboratory provides support when more detailed analysis is needed. If necessary, we can tailor the methods to suit your company’s needs.

Our recycling solutions for precious metals cover the needs of the following industries, among others:

  • imaging (chemicals, X-ray films)
  • jewellery industry
  • coating industry
  • manufacturing (waste fractions)
  • mining industry
  • chemical industry
  • pharmaceutical industry

On a case-by-case basis, we also accept special metals, as well as rare earth metals.

Electrical and electronic equipment

Recyclable electrical and electronic equipment includes computers, printers, mobile phones, lamps and various power tools. If reuse is not a viable option, we will recycle the equipment as raw material.

Almost 100% of non-reusable materials can be recycled, either as recycled raw material or energy.
